Three Things_ I learnt from my Father last night

One. If you leave a freshly picked onion hanging through the open window of your car, when it comes time to leave, your car will smell of onion. It won’t get any better if you leave it on the dashboard for the trip home because you don’t have a plastic bag.

Two. Your car has the potential to go 5km per hour faster if you clear out all the leaves caught between the windshield and hood of your car. I question the validity of this benefit. Making it possible to go 175km/h instead of 170km/h in an 80km/h zone. It’s nice to know that headroom is there, but it is of little use.

Three. That tree out the front of the house. Keep an eye on kids around it. No not because they might try climbing it. It’s an Oleander, it’s poisonous… Hmm, good to know.

But that’s ok, we’re all set, if my son does decide to eat this plants tasty looking flowers and turn into a mindless zombie he won’t come near my onion scented car that can go 175km/h.

No wait, that’s garlic and vampires.. Darn, better go get a shovel.
