I tend to hoard things and often things I hide away show up in the weirdest places. In an attempt to declutter and reorganize my stuff here are 5 things kept and where they now belong, and five things thrown and why.
Today I started tackling the mess that makes up my desk.
Five Kept
1. Dilbert Comic Book: not sure if this one will end up at work, but for now it’s back on the bookshelf.
2. Bravest Warriors Comic and Regettable Superheros book from Loot Crate: these have been deemed worth holding onto and now have joined Dilbert on the bookshelf.
3. HDMI to DVI adaptor: for a while these had been a bit useless, I have now found a use for them at work as they tend to provide a more stable connection between the new MacBook pros and Dell monitors we currently use. So this one is heading to the office as a spare.
4. Band-Aid Box: complete with band-aids, this one is going back to our crisis cupboard to join it’s bretheren.
5. That puzzle piece that was missing from Tucker’s echidna puzzle: surely it’s just a coincidence that this puzzle piece has the number 5 printed on it. Regardless it’s now joined the 9 other pieces on Tucker’s cube storage, in his bedroom.
Five Thrown
1. Old Loot Crate Mags: these tended to only be good for the first read through, could never really bring myself to chuck them because surely I’d want to look through them again. I guess, not anymore.
2. Old NGamer and iOS Mags: ditto. Which there probably was one featured in one of the Pokémon articles in the NGamer Mags.
3. Xbox 360 wireless chat headset: this served me well, until I upgraded to a Turtle Beach headset, then this one got lost and forgotten under a pile of magazines which it’s now being thrown out with… #dontsplittheparty
4. STM iPad mini case: pretty happy with this case, I suppose that’s why i kept it around even after getting a new iPad that just won’t fit into this one (the new model had slightly different dimensions)
5. Highlighter: it’s cap was off, so it is all dry and shriveled inside. A bit like me after throwing out all those magazines I’ll never get to read again. Oh well, I’ll get over it… maybe.
