I tend to hoard things and often things I hide away show up in the weirdest places. Sign on the door

Life with an Author Wife can be trying. Especially when attempting to make something Grand out of the mundane. Sometimes things are just not elaborate enough… When I mentioned to my wife that I had thought of a poem to attach to the external door we mainly use as an entry, things got complicated. Field (Hockey) Day

Every once in a while I get to do something really cool. I get to operate a scoreboard… OK, so when I say it like that it sounds a bit dull and boring, but, this is not a scoreboard with wooden boards with white numbers lovingly painted onto a field of black. Five minutes of Fail: This week I’ve learned not to get electric shocks when pulling apart an iMac, not to fall down stairs when trying to save a video camera from falling off a shelf, not to let a 19 month old child pinch your arm where the bruises are appearing from the previously mentioned fall because he can’t get to sleep because he is teething and not to smash a 2.5″ SATA Hard Drive with a pair of pliers if you need to retrieve data off it later.
